Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs transforms prison life with new inmate mentorship course
The 56-year-old music mogul begins mentorship program behind bars after Mann Act conviction
Sean “Diddy” Combs is reportedly discovering a new sense of purpose while behind bars.
Us Weekly reports that the 56-year-old music mogul is using his prison time to mentor fellow inmates with his program, “Free Game With Diddy.”
Raymond Castillo, who was jailed alongside Diddy at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center, spoke to the outlet about the initiative.
“Everything was smooth after that. Diddy brought unity… everybody was segregated until the disgraced mogul started the program,” Castillo revealed.
He added that the program included prisoners of all backgrounds and even some staff members.
Castillo said, “Even counselors, case managers, assistant wardens… saw he was unifying everybody from all cultures and races.”
According to reports, Diddy instructed inmates on how to develop realistic plans and the steps required to implement them effectively.
Towards the end, Castillo described the lessons as “fundamental,” noting that they guided inmates on how to pursue success post-release.
For those unversed, Sean “Diddy” Combs was convicted under the Mann Act and sentenced to more than four years in prison with a $500,000 fine.
