Sadie Sink and Noah Jupe to star as 'Romeo and Juliet'
The British actor Noah Jupe will play Romeo opposite Sadie Sink’s Juliet
Sadie Sink and Noah Jupe, two of the most promising young talents in the industry, will make their London West End debuts as Juliet and Romeo, respectively, in a bold new production of Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet.
Directed by Robert Icke, whose Olivier-winning Oedipus is currently running on Broadway, the Empire Street Productions staging will play a strictly limited season from 16 March to 6 June 2026. Tickets go on sale Wednesday at 10am GMT.
Sink, who first rose to fame as Max in Stranger Things and recently earned a Tony nomination for John Proctor Is the Villain, has long spoken of her dream to perform in London.
Moreover, Jupe, best known for A Quiet Place and Ford v Ferrari, currently on screen in Chloé Zhao’s awards contender Hamnet, will take on Romeo in his stage debut.
The creative team includes set and costume designer Hildegard Bechtler, lighting designer Jon Clark, sound designer Tom Gibbons, and video designer Ash J. Woodward and the additional casting in the pipeline.
