Eva Longoria excited for the world to see Kim Kardashian's humour in 'The Fifth Wheel'
Longoria eagerly anticipates fans watching Kim Kardashian's transition from TV to film
As Kim Kardashian takes her talent to the silver screen, Eva Longoria is excited for audiences to experience her leading role.
The director of Fifth Wheel praised Kardashian’s acting as “incredibly humorous” in this Janine Brito and Paula Pell-scripted comedy that revolves around a group of friends whose trip to Las Vegas is unexpectedly joined by a charming newcomer.
“It’s an absolute delight. We just finished three months of filming with a finale in Vegas. It was truly a dream project,” Longoria shared with People. “Firstly, it’s a bold, no-holds-barred R-rated female comedy that’s both fresh and current.”
Besides Kardashian, the movie features Nikki Glaser, Brenda Song, Fortune Feimster, Jack Whitehall, Casey Wilson, Scott MacArthur, and Will Ferrell.
“Kim carries the film,” Longoria stated. “We had such a wonderful time. Kim and I have been friends for a quarter-century, and when I got the role, she said, ‘Thank goodness Eva knows I’m funny.’”
Longoria continued, “And she truly is — she’s hilarious. I can’t wait for everyone to see her shine in this film and hopefully inspire even more female-led comedies.”
Kardashian’s moment in cinema follows her recent roles in Ryan Murphy's series All’s Fair and American Horror Story: Delicate.
She also appeared in the 2008 satire Disaster Movie and Tyler Perry’s 2013 film Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor.
