Gal Gadot has recently stirred rumors about a potential Snow White sequel, despite the live-action remake struggling to make it big at the box office.

The 40-year-old actress shared that she would be interested to reprise her character as the Evil Queen after starring opposite the 24-year-old Rachel Zegler.

“I would love to do that. Yes. Tell [Disney CEO] Bob [Iger]. Bob, I’ll do that,” she said while speaking to Us Weekly at the Women’s Guild Cedars-Sinai Snow Ball Gala, where she was honoured with the Hollywood Icon Award.

Gadot’s remarks come as a surprise after Snow White, directed by Marc Webb, faced immense public scrutiny ahead of its March premiere, with reports emerging of a rift between her and Zegler over their contrasting views on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Previously, the Wonder Woman star said that she was disappointed the movie "didn't do well" at the box office, claiming it was "greatly affected" by the pressure on celebrities to take sides in the dispute.

Moreover, the film was also criticised for having a “woke” approach, different from the original 1937 classic.

The rumoured feud between the female co-stars took a dramatic turn after Zegler unfollowed Gadot on Instagram.

It is worth noting that Snow White, starring Gal Gadot and Rachel Zegler, earned only around $200 million worldwide against an estimated $410 million cost.
