Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard earn praise from young co-star for on-set support
The ‘Stranger Things’ actors praised for supporting young cast member on set
Millie Bobby Brown and Finn Wolfhard used their status as well-established actors to support and protect the new young stars on the Stranger Things Season 5 set.
In a conversation with PEOPLE, Nell Fisher, who plays Holly Wheeler in the final season of the hit Netflix sci-fi horror series, opened up about how the 21-year-old actress and the 22-year-old actor made her feel safe on the set.
“We were really good friends. I mean, he's such an amazing guy. He's definitely been really helpful talking about what is to come, because he did this when he was younger. He was around the same age, and he's given a whole lot of helpful advice,” she said, reflecting on her on-screen brother Wolfhard.
Elsewhere, Nell also gushed over how incredibly supportive Millie was whenever she found the young actress struggling.
“We were filming episode eight — it was stressful, it was tiring, it was tricky. Millie took me and a whole load of other kids aside and we all choreographed a dance to ‘Please, Please, Please’ by Sabrina Carpenter, and I still remember it,” the 14-year-old starlet shared.
Nell also stressed the importance of being able to say no politely, explaining that children in the industry need personal time, a trait she learned from Wolhard.
It is worth noting that the final season of Stranger Things, Volume 1, is currently premiering on Netflix.
