James Van Der Beek puts brave face for Thanksgiving with family amid Cancer battle

James Van Der Beek was seen in high spirits during a heartfelt Thanksgiving with his family.

Taking to Instagram stories, the 48-year-old actor’s wife Kimberly posted a collection of holiday memories, giving fans a glimpse into their holiday.

Among the pictures and videos was a heartwarming moment captured between the Dawson’s Creek alum and their four year old son, Will.

She also gave her followers a rare behind the scenes look at the beautifully arranged dinner table she created with her sister, and even teased the family’s meal which was cooked by the "wildly gifted chef," Dr. Michah Pittman.

"Dr. Michah Pittman is a wildly gifted chef with a huge heart!" she wrote over the short video clip.

Kimberly also added a heartwarming selfie with two of her sons, Will and 13-year-old Joshua, captioning it, "Mama with her sons."
