Jennifer Garner reflects on unexpected skills her acting career taught her
The ‘Alias’ actress shares throwback look at the skills she picked up for roles
Jennifer Garner took a trip down her memory lane as she reflected on her long-standing acting career.
On Thursday, November 27, the 53-year-old actress took to her Instagram Stories and opened up about the unique things she has had the opportunity to do throughout her career.
"I am grateful that my job asks me to learn bits of so many things," Garner said, while highlighting some of her career milestones.
She added, "Grateful for patient teachers. And I am grateful for everyone here who plays along.”
The Peppermint actress listed the “crazy” task she has done in the industry, including learning "all the spy languages," taking "equestrian lessons," "learning to fight" for her role in Alias (2002),, learning "all the weapons, but mostly sais" for her roles in Daredevil (2003), Elektra (2005), and Deadpool & Wolverine (2024), and learning to "turn wood."
Garner ended her series of throwback moments with a video from a 1998 Fantasy Island episode in which she portrayed a dolphin.
On the personal front, Jennifer Garner recently reunited with her former husband Ben Affleck on Thanksgiving Day with their children.
