Jamie Campbell Bower reprised his role as Vecna for Netflix's 'Stranger Things'
Stranger Things fans had not seen Vecna in three years, so his new, much slimmer appearance has them talking on social media.
The first part of the fifth and final season premiered on Wednesday, November 26, marking Jamie Campbell Bower’s return as Vecna.
The 37-year-old star also came back on the screen as Henry, Vecna’s human form, who masks his sinister intentions behind a friendly façade as he plots to abduct the children in Hawkins.
Although the storyline is centered around Vecna’s thirst for revenge, fans are more focused on his dramatic change in appearance.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, a fan questioned, "I wonder, why does Vecna look so different? The „branches“ on his shoulder? Slimmer waist?"
“Vecna coming out with a 14 inch waist,” another penned.
Poking fun at Vecna’s dramatic transformation, Jamie quipped on X, teasing that the villain squeezed in some 'Zumba' between terrorising Hawkins.
