Leah Lewis set to reprise her role in 'Matlock'
Leah Lewis has officially returned on the Matlock set and dove straight into work.
The 28-year-old actress shared on December 1, that season 2 of the CBS drama is back in production after David Del Rio’s removal.
Taking to Instagram story, the Chinese-American actress posted a snap of herself smiling at the camera, posing in front of a trailer while dressed as her character, lawyer Sarah Franklin, in a button-up blouse and tie.
“@matlockcbs and we back up and running,” she penned over the photo.
According to People, the 38-year-old actor, who starred as Billy Martinez in season one of Matlock, was accused of sexually assaulting Leah in late September.
Deadline also reported that the Pitch Perfect actor was removed from the Paramount lot on October 2, the very day the report was filed.
People later learned that an investigation was launched right away which led to the network parting ways with David.
