Historic royal welcome: King Charles, Queen Camilla greet Germany’s President
King Charles and Queen Camilla mark a historic moment
For the first time in almost three decades, King Charles and Queen Camilla have greeted the President of Germany on December 3, 2025 on their grand state visit.
Upon their arrival at the Royal Dais near Windsor Castle, the King and Queen wholeheartedly welcomed the German leader and his wife, as per Hello! Magazine.
The 77-year-old Monarch also went on to shared a firm but warm handshake with the President.
The Monarch's meeting with the German President comes after Kate Middleton and Prince William's welcoming the German couple at Heathrow Airport in London.
During the meeting, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, who was re-ellected into the position on 13 February 2022, addressed Charles, saying, "It's so wonderful to see you again."
Charles and Camilla had made their first official state visit to Germany back in March 2023.
After the warm greetings, the Royal couple and the German Presidential couple stood together on the Dais for the German national anthem which was then followed by God Save The King.
For the occasion, Charles had looked dapper in a classic dark overcoat, fitting for the chilly weather.
Where as Camilla was seen in a stunning sapphire blue silk dress, with a Anna Valentine's sapphire blue cashmere top stitch coat with a matching Philip Treacy's feathered hat, pairing the look with black boots and gloves to protect herself from the chilly air.
The Queen also completed her look with a matching sapphire and diamond brooch which once belonged to Queen Victoria.
