JoJo Siwa has given fans an update on her health after being hospitalised last week due to an ovarian cyst rupture.

The 22-year-old singer, dancer, actress, and media personality shared a bunch of photos in an Instagram carousel post, writing, "It’s been nothing short of an eventful weekend that’s for sure!" in the caption.

The Karma singer went ahead and thanked her fans for their well wishes and sweet messages, saying, "Thank you all for the well wishes and prayers! I’m happy to say I’m doing a bit better, I’m not in the clear yet, but feeling better and doing well!"

"I had a bit of a scare with a fever the night after I went to the hospital, but slept and woke up fever free and have been since," she added. "resting when I can and drinking lots and lots of electrolytes!"

Continuing, "Keeping it pushing! Thank you for checking in on me and sending messages. It's been a beautiful circle of love and support that has helped me heal!"

Fans were quick to comment heartfelt messages, with one user saying, "The strength you showed pushing through everything this week is unreal. You’re truly one of a kind."

On November 29, JoJo revealed that she was rushed to the hospital after being in “excruciating pain" on Thursday, November 27, just one day ahead of her performance at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota.

At the hospital, the Boomerang singer and her mother Jessalynn Siwa learned that the “one of [her] ovaries had a cyst on it that burst and was bleeding into [her] stomach.”

"That’s what was causing the excruciating pain, anytime that the blood in your stomach moves, that’s the bleeding in the stomach,” JoJo said in her video. “It’s brutal pain. Long story short, [the issue] should revolve itself. It should stop on its own.”
