King Charles, Queen Camilla mark historic moment as they welcome German President for grand state visit
King Charles and Queen Camilla have welcomed the German President and his wife in the Windsor Castle in Windsor, as per Hello! Magazine.
The Royal couple proceeded to give the German guests a personal tour.
Frank-Walter Steinmeier, and Frank-Walter's wife Elke Buedenbender were presented with a special collection of German-themed items in the Green Drawing room.

The tour came right after the 77-year-old Monarch and his wife warmly greeted the German leader and his wife at the Royal Dais near Windsor Castle, with Charles greeting the President with a warm but firm handshake.
Their meeting marks a historic moment as the State visit comes after almost three decades (27 years).
The Monarch's meeting with the German President comes after Kate Middleton and Prince William's welcoming the German couple at Heathrow Airport in London.
During his meeting with the King, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, shared pleasantries by saying, "It's so wonderful to see you again."
Charles and Camilla had made their first official state visit to Germany back in March 2023.
After the warm greetings, the Royal couple and the German Presidential couple stood together on the Dais for the German national anthem which was then followed by God Save The King.
