Jennifer Lopez sparks buzz after covering tattoo dedicated to Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez appears to be fully moving on from her marriage to Ben Affleck, as she has reportedly altered a tattoo that was once dedicated to her former partner.

According to Page Six, the 56-year-old singer was spotted in 2023 sporting an infinity tattoo on her ribcage with the 53-year-old actor’s name, shortly after the former couple rekindled their romance.

Although their relationship ended when Lopez filed for divorce in August 2024, the tattoo remained visible long after their marriage dissolved.

However, fans now believe the On the Floor songstress has recently "covered up" the tattoo she got for the Deep Water actor.

On Valentine’s Day 2023, Lopez unveiled the matching tattoo she’d gotten, an infinity sign with an arrow and their initials written along it.

She first revealed the tattoo on Instagram, describing it as a sign of their “commitment” to one another.

At the same time, Affleck got his own tattoo, two crossed arrows marked with his and Lopez's initials.

The Dance Again hitmaker first sparked speculation about removing her tattoo just a month after her divorce filing, when she appeared at the premiere of Unstoppable without the visible “Ben” detail.

Now, an anonymous source has told DeuxMoi that Lopez still has the infinity tattoo itself, but has allegedly covered Affleck’s name with a small hummingbird.

According to the tipster, “Fans don’t know exactly when Lopez covered up the tattoo, but they noticed the change in July or August of this year.”

For those unversed, Hummingbird tattoos often symbolise resilience and renewal, a fitting message following the singer's tumultuous breakup.

Notably, Lopez and Affleck first met on the set of Gigli and got engaged in 2002 before cancelling their wedding.

They reconnected two decades later, marrying in 2022, and finalised their separation in 2025.
