Meghan Markle’s latest luxury chocolate bars, which are priced at £9 ($12) each, are already facing intense backlash and major criticism as consumers slam the unconventional flavours, calling them "weird" and "insane."

On Thursday, the 44-year-old Duchess introduced three limited edition treats from her As Ever lifestyle brand.

She describes the sweet treats as "signature" ingredients which are to "spark a sweet nostalgia."

But the move to market the bars as luxury chocolates hasn’t gone as well as she thought it would as it drew major criticism over both the odd flavour combinations as well as the premium cost.

Announced via Instagram, the chocolate line includes three flavours: dark chocolate with raspberry spread and sea salt, white chocolate with flower sprinkles and hemp hearts, and milk chocolate with shortbread cookies and bee pollen.

Fans didn’t hesitate to voice their opinions, as they stormed social media with their criticism.

"She's got to be joking. $12 for a CHOCOLATE BAR? With weird [flavours] in it? Like who ruins chocolate with flower sprinkles? And bee pollen? Leave that for the bees," One user penned on X, formerly Twitter.

Another stated, "There's NO WAY I'd pay $12 for a random chocolate bar with weeds in it. Gross."
