King Charles, Queen Camilla turn their most important portrait this year into Christmas card
King Charles and Queen Camilla release their annual Christmas card
King Charles and Queen Camilla officially marked this holiday season’s greetings with their newly released Christmas card.
This year, the royal couple’s portrait featured in the festive release is the one from their 20th wedding anniversary celebrations earlier this year.
While the card was issued on December 6, the King and Queen’s shot was taken by British photographer Chris Jackson and “shows the monarch and Camilla at Villa Wolkonsky in Rome, during their trip to Italy in April,” per PEOPLE.
“Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year,” the card’s greeting reads.
To recall, King Charles and Queen Camilla had travelled to Italy to spend their milestone wedding anniversary in April, where the pair memorably met the ailing Pope Francis who passed away shortly after.
