Prince William and Kate Middleton are known to spend their Christmas with the royal family, led by King Charles, at their Sandringham Estate in Norfolk — incredibly beyond the reach of the common public.

Yet, there is a secret way the Prince and Princess of Wales spread holiday cheer with their admirers every year.

The public can in fact get a hold of the royal couple by sending them a greeting card over Christmas — one which they are known to return.

How to mail your Christmas card

According to Metro, “You don’t have to be a Duke or a Duchess to make it” on William and Kate’s “mailing list this year – all you have to do is send them a Christmas card.”

And how may the family be reached?

“As long as you include your return address, royal staff will send you a Christmas card back in response, containing a pre-printed thank you message and a photo,” the outlet shared.

Details

Though the task may seem daunting, the complete procedure to mail the future king and queen was recently detailed by one of their online fan pages.

“You can send from anywhere in the world. The stamps you will need depend on where you live – just ask at your post shop and they will know,” the Instagram fan account for Princess Kate revealed in its caption.

While the address included in the picture’s description was “TRH The Prince & Princess of Wales, Kensington Palace, London, United Kingdom, W8 4PX”.

Are other royals reachable by mail?

While other members of the royal family can also be reached through mail, including King Charles and Queen Camilla, only William and Kate accept (and return) greeting cards.

“And don’t despair if you aren’t sent a reply right away, as the royal family receives a lot of mail at this time of year, so it can take several months for staff to respond to everyone,” Metro’s report added.

Here are the addresses used to establish contact with various royals:

King Charles & Queen Camilla

Buckingham Palace, London, United Kingdom, SW1A 1AA

Edward & Sophie, Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh

Bagshot Park, Bagshot, Surrey GU19 5PL

Princess Anne
