The Friends cast has reunited for an important yet heartfelt cause in honour of their late co-star, Matthew Perry.

According to Page Six, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Courteney Cox, and David Schwimmer collaborated on a special artwork to raise money for charity during the festive season.

The Matthew Perry Foundation took to its official Instagram account to share glimpses of the project, showing the stars signing a colourful artwork inspired by the iconic Friends theme song.

The piece was created by artist Tim Wakefield in collaboration with Soundwaves Art.

Signed artworks will be sold for $600, while unsigned versions will be available for $100.

"Exciting news! The cast has teamed up with Soundwaves Art and artist Tim Wakefield for a very special collection of artwork this holiday season,” the foundation wrote in the caption.

It continued, "Tim has transformed the actual soundwaves of the Friends theme song into these beautiful designs each inspired by a different character, and each cast member has autographed their own small run of artworks.”

"And in collaboration with the estate of Matthew Perry we have produced a very limited edition of artworks embossed with Matthew's official signature," the statement added.

Toward the end, the foundation noted, “All profits will be supporting charities chosen by the cast, including the Matthew Perry Foundation and their work helping those struggling with the disease of addiction."

It is important to note that Matthew Perry tragically passed away from a drug overdose at the age of 54 on October 28, 2023.
