Kevin Costner's ‘Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 2’ lands in hot water
Kevin Costner recently landed in legal trouble over breach of contract.
According to PEOPLE, the 70-year-old actor along with his production entities is being sued by Western Costume Leasing Company over an unpaid bill.
In the lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday, December 22, the company alleged that Costner and his team failed to make timely payments for costumes rented for movie, Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 2, with an outstanding bill of $134,256.82.
According to the complaint, the producers did "not dispute receipt of the costumes nor quality of them" and the producers failed to pay multiple invoices of the the rented costumes used in the film.
The lawsuit filed against the Hidden Figures actor seeks $350,000 in damages, $200,000 in attorney's fees, and $40,000 in accrued interest.
The lawsuit also includes additional claims of $100,000 in punitive damages.
For the unversed, this isn't the first lawsuit filed against Kevin Costner's Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 2 as a stunt performer Devyn LaBella sued the actor and the production team for sexual harassment, and creating a hostile work environment.
According to her, she was subjected to an unscripted and violent rape scene without proper notice, and consent.
