Who could tragically die in ‘Stranger Things’ finale?
‘Stranger Things” fifth and final season's Volume 2 is set to release on Christmas 2025
As we know Stranger Things is coming to an end with its fifth and final season, and it's going to be roller coaster ride.
The final season is being released in three parts: Volume 1 dropped already on November 26, Volume 2 is set to premiere on Christmas Day i.e. December 25, and the finale will air on New Year's Eve i.e. December 31, 2025.
Heading towards the finale, one thing we are worried about the most is fear of losing series’ notable characters. So, who will die in Stranger Things? Let’s list out potential characters who we think are in danger.
Steve Harrington
One of the most beloved characters in the show is Steve Harrington, played by Joe Keery. Though, he skipped every dangerous situation even the demogorgons and marked himself safe throughout the four seasons, his fate might be in grave danger in the finale.
The latest trailer shows Steve and Dustin sharing a heartfelt moment, with both saying "If you die, I die" to each other.
This sparked a debate on whether it's possible Steve will survive.
Even the Duffer Brothers, the creators of the show even teased that Steve might meet his end in the final season, especially after a dramatic appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where they pushed his Funko doll off the table.
Jonathan Byers
The eldest brother of Will and boyfriend of Nancy might not have a happy ending in the finale.
We saw a scene of in Volume 1 in which he hides an engagement ring from Nancy inside a cassette tape given to him by Murray, intending to propose later but hesitating due to recent trauma.
This could be a hint that he might die before ever giving it to her, leaving Nancy to find it as a tragic clue to his feelings.
Vecna
Last but not least, Vecna aka Henry Creel!
Whether who dies or survives, one thing is definitely confirmed; Vecna is definitely going to die as there's no way Stranger Things 5 will conclude without showing a gruesome end to this evil character.
