Britney Spears recently blamed her estranged family for giving her an "unbelievable trauma" during the Christmas holiday.
The 44-year-old pop star took to Instagram on Sunday, December 28, and shared an alarming message for her estranged family, writing, “Merry late Christmas to my beautiful family who have never disrespected me, harmed me, ever done anything completely unacceptable or caused unbelievable trauma, the kind you can’t fix.”
The ...Baby One More Time hitmaker, in the post that also showcased an image of a decorated holiday tree, went on to say, “To my dear sweet innocent family … so so sorry I was busy this Christmas but I will definitely show up and surprise you soon … I can’t wait.”
The mother-of-two, who had spent Christmas holiday with one of her two sons, 19-year-old Jayden, in the same post gave her seven-year-old niece Ivey a special shoutout, writing, “Hello, beautiful Ivy … I just want to hold you, my love.”
The Toxic songstress concluded her post, saying, "Godspeed, friends."
Her post comes after a source told PEOPLE that the Oops!...I Did It Again songstress had a fun time celebrating Christmas with her son.
