Body cam video shows Kim Scott cursing at police officers

Emergency responders loaded 51-year-old Kim Scott onto a stretcher outside her home in Michigan earlier this month after officers responded to a suicide attempt.

TMZ reported that body camera footage showed Scott, who is the ex-wife of rapper Eminem, hurling expletives at at least five police officers and paramedics. The video captured Scott calling one officer a "f–king idiot" and telling another to "f–k you, b–ch" when asked to lie down. Scott appeared in her bra and underwear while yelling at a person inside her house. A police report confirmed officers tased Scott after she became irate and combative, subsequently arresting her for resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer.

Audio recordings revealed that emergency services dispatched officers after a relative called 911, reporting that Scott had cut her wrist and lost consciousness. The caller noted that Scott initially sat on a couch listening to music while holding a knife before the relative managed to remove the weapon. Emergency personnel rushed Scott to McLaren Macomb Hospital in Mount Clemens, Michigan, following the response. During the incident, a female officer stated that Scott bit her, and authorities later photographed the officer's arms to document the alleged injuries.

Scott has experienced mental health struggles and previously attempted suicide twice. In May, authorities booked her at Macomb County Jail on a suspected driving under the influence charge. A court later issued an arrest warrant after she failed to appear for her hearing regarding the incident.

Scott shares three children with her former husband Marshall Mathers, professionally known as Eminem. The couple married in June 1999 before divorcing in 2001. They reconciled and remarried in January 2006, but the musician filed for divorce three months later, with the court finalising the second divorce in December 2006. Scott now faces criminal charges stemming from her interaction with the responding officers.
