Sabrina Carpenter shared the year end photo dump as she marks the 2025 by career milestones and a few unexpected mishaps.
Ahead of 2026, the House Tour singer, took to Instagram Stories on Wednesday, December 31, to look back on the past 12 months and revealed she accidentally set a fire in her bathroom at some point in 2025.
Many of Carpenter’s posts celebrated her professional highlights, including collaborating with Dolly Parton on the Please Please Please remix.
Singing with Paul Simon on Saturday Night Live, appearing on her Vogue cover, filming the Manchild music video, releasing Man’s Best Friend, and performing worldwide on the Short n’ Sweet Tour.
However, one post at the end of her year-in-review showed a fire damaged sink and what appeared to be a nearby candle.
Carpenter wrote alongside the photo, “set my bathroom on fire by accident,” adding a white heart emoji.
It’s unclear when the mishap occurred, but the Grammy nominee isn’t the first pop star to experience an accidental house fire.
Earlier in December, the 26-year-old singer gave fans a special year end treat with a bonus track from Man’s Best Friend, titled Such a Funny Way.
In an Instagram post on December 24, she explained the release was meant “to thank you for such a beautiful year …and to supply whoever needs a cathartic christmas crashout song…”
Sabrina Carpenter added, “I love you guys so much, thank you for caring for these songs the way I do and for such a special 2025!! I feel lucky to know there’s still so much good to come.”
