Angelina Jolie prepares to fulfill her long-held dream of leaving the US

Angelina Jolie is reportedly closer to moving out of the US for Europe, currently looking for suitable accommodation.

According to Page Six, the 50-year-old actress has put up her Cecil B. DeMille estate in Los Angeles on the market, while quietly “showing potential buyers around.”

Looking “for more privacy”, the Oscar-winning star will be dividing her time between New York and Europe in 2026.

While Cambodia is also on the cards, the country where she holds citizenship and from where she adopted her eldest, Maddox Chivan Jolie-Pitt.

Jae Benjamin, an actor and producer who has known Jolie since 2005, told the outlet, “She can’t get far enough away from the drama… the only way to take a break is to get out.”

“She’ll go and decompress – only working on things that drive her heart, soul and passion. She’s a wonderful, talented, and giving woman,” he added.

The Maleficent actress was recently spotted on a humanitarian trip to the Egyptian side of Rafah, where aid is being administered into the war-torn Gazan territory of Palestine.

Jolie was accompanied by an American delegate as she met up with aid drivers performing their duties at the location and injured Palestinians being cared for at a hospital in the nearby city of Arish.

Regarding her move away from the States, she had told The Hollywood Reporter in 2024 that she has to live in the country because of “a divorce”, but once all of her children turn 18, she will be “able to leave.”

Angelina Jolie previously split from her husband, Brad Pitt, in 2016. She has been the primary caretaker of their six children ever since.
