Justin Baldoni accuses Blake Lively of setting him up for trap on 'It Ends with Us' set

In shocking turn of events, Justin Baldoni has accused Blake Lively of setting him up for a trap on the sets of It Ends with Us.

According to PEOPLE, Baldoni’s text from December 30, 2023 text to his former agent at William Morris Endeavor Entertainment (WME), revealed shocking details in the ongoing case between the 2024 movie costars.

The 41-year-old actor in one of the texts wrote that the 38-year-old actress had “refused” to use a body double for sex scenes, prompting Sony executives and producer Todd Black to step in.

“That’s just setting me up for a trap,” the Jane the Virgin actor claimed, adding that she was nevertheless insisting a body double be used in his place.

Baldoni, who is also the director of the movie based on a Colleen Hoover novel, said that the Gossip Girl actress also disagreed with how he wanted to film a romantic scene as she rejected his storyboards for the scenes and pushed to keep both actors fully clothed during what he viewed as a key romantic moment in the film.

“If you know the book,” the Five Feet Apart director said, adding, “It’s just ridiculous.”

Before concluding, the text also added that the actor called the whole situation “a gigantic clusterf---”. For Baldoni, he was giving Lively “95% of what she wants for peace” but the experience of working with “an actress who is rewriting the writer and director” had been “very draining” and “time-consuming” for him.

It's worth mentioning here that Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, who are involved in a harassment case, will face a trial scheduled for May 2026.
