50 Cent steps behind true crime series after producing Netflix’s docuseries on Diddy
50 Cent reportedly developing a new true crime series for A&E
50 Cent will be developing a true crime series for the A&E network, following his successful production of Sean Combs: The Reckoning for Netflix.
According to Deadline, the working title for the project is Gang Wars, while it is supposed to be “a raw, unfiltered true-crime series that rips open America’s most infamous gang rivalries with unprecedented access and never-before-heard accounts — exposing the street battles, betrayals and power plays that built our modern criminal world.”
It is not yet clear which gangs will be featured in the series, with the report claiming that more details will follow later.
The 50-year-old rapper’s production company, G-Unit Films and Television Inc., is currently on a roll with several projects in the pipeline.
Following its production of the docuseries based on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ controversial music empire, the 50 Cent-founded G-Unit is also producing the second season of The BMF Documentary: Blowing Money Fast, TikTok Star Murders, Hip Hop Homicides, among a number of other documentaries.
