Jennifer Garner uses one word to describe losing Ben Affleck

Jennifer Garner has rolled out a shocking one-word reaction to her split from Ben Affleck.

The 53-year-old actress, spoke to Marie Claire UK about her split from the 53-year-old actor, recalling how “hard” it was breaking up with him.

“You have to be smart about what you can and can’t handle, and I could not handle what was out there,” said Garner, adding, “But what was out there.”

According to the Elektra actress, gesturing into the distance, “was not what was hard”.

Garner, who will soon be seen in Apple TV+ drama The Last Thing He Told Me, went on to say, “The fact of it is what was hard.”

“The actual breaking up of a family is what was hard,” the Deadpool & Wolverine performer concluded, adding, “Losing a true partnership and friendship is what was hard.”

The now former couple met in 2000s and got married in 2005.

Before splitting in 2015, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck welcomed three children together: daughters Violet Anne and Seraphina Rose and son Samuel Garner.
