Oscar nominations 2026: ‘Sinners’ leads historic 16 nods

The 2026 Oscar nominations were announced on Thursday, kicking off Hollywood’s awards season.

Danielle Brooks and Lewis Pullman revealed the list at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.

Sinners led with 16 nominations, making it the most-nominated film in Oscars history.

Timothée Chalamet earned his third acting nod for Marty Supreme.

Jessie Buckley picked up her first best actress nomination for Hamnet.

In addition, Conan O’Brien was confirmed to host the 98th Academy Awards on 15 March at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.
