Rihanna cheers A$AP Rocky as ‘Don’t Be Dumb’ tops Billboard 200
'Don’t Be Dumb' is the singer's first album since 2018’s 'Testing', which debuted at the top of the chart
Rihanna celebrates her “baby daddy,” A$AP Rocky as his new album Don’t Be Dumb claims the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200.
The pop superstar took to X on Sunday, January 25, to celebrate her partner’s new album, Don’t Be Dumb, hitting No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
“Just me here to let yall know my baby daddy got the NUMBER 1 ALBUM!!! Aaahhhhhh hah! DONT BE DUMB!!!” she wrote.
Don’t Be Dumb, Rocky’s first album since 2018’s Testing, debuted at the top of the chart dated Jan. 31 after selling 123,000 equivalent album units in its opening week.
Released on January 16, the album features collaborations with Brent Faiyaz, BossMan Dlow, Sauce Walka, Slay Squad, Gorillaz, Westside Gunn, Doechii, Will.i.am, Jessica Pratt, Tyler, the Creator, Jozzy, Tokischa, Imogen Heap, and Clams Casino.
Rocky is set to hit the road in support of the album with the Don’t Be Dumb Tour, performing across North America from May to July, followed by a European leg from August to September. He also teased a deluxe version of the project in a Jan. 22 interview on The Joe Budden Podcast.
The couple, who confirmed their romance in November 2020, share three children: daughter Rocki Irish, 4 months, and sons Riot, 2, and RZA, 3.
Rocky recently spoke about how they maintain their relationship while raising a family. “You got to spice it up.
You got to still date. You got to still be friends,” he told The Ebro Show. “We roll [music] dice. We play cards. Like, she a cheater. We be playing crazy eights. I love that girl to death, man. You know, word. We got to keep the funk going cuz if not, what we doing then?”
