2026 Super Bowl ad: Lady Gaga, Trevor Noah and more stars share top Pokémon picks

To mark its 30th anniversary, The Pokémon Company launched a celebrity-filled Super Bowl ad.

Lady Gaga, Trevor Noah, Jisoo from BLACKPINK, Never Have I Ever star Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and others disclosed their beloved Pokémon, with favourites spanning from Eevee to Jigglypuff, in the ad.

The year-long initiative — cleverly named "What's Your Favourite?" — will feature events aimed at fans, creating connections between new followers and those familiar with the franchise's cards, cartoons, and games since 1996.

"That one question fosters enthusiastic debate and reminds followers that regardless of their identity, they have a Pokémon," according to Kenji Okubo, president at The Pokémon Company International, in a statement to PEOPLE. "We’re eager to surprise and delight them with additional offerings and experiences in the months to come."

Lady Gaga is charmed by Jigglypuff's extensive vocal range.

"My favourite is Jigglypuff," the Grammy winner, 39, mentions in the commercial featuring the singing Pokémon, while performing its well-known tune, known to put others to sleep. "She possesses a 12-octave vocal range."

Psyduck is comedian Trevor Noah's Pokémon of choice. The host expresses his admiration for the psychic Pokémon, noting it "can alter the world with its mind."

BLACKPINK's Jisoo feels a connection with Eevee. The K-Pop icon, 31, appreciates Eevee's capability to evolve into a variety of powerful Pokémon, adding, "I feel she has a bit of me in her."

Soccer sensation Lamine Yamal is inspired by Zygarde's strength. Yamal describes Zygarde as having "different ways to conquer challenges," a characteristic the FC Barcelona star, 18, finds relatable on the soccer field.

'Never Have I Ever' actress Maitreyi Ramakrishnan shares traits with Luxray. "He enjoys napping, much like me," the 24-year-old actress mentions as her reason for liking the electric-type Pokémon.

Arcanine is F1 racer Charles Leclerc's top pick. The racing enthusiast, 28, admires Arcanine for "his unwavering loyalty" and "his incredible speed."

Young Miko admires the ghost-type trickster Pokémon, Gengar. "He’s mischievous, yet that's somehow his way of showing affection," the Puerto Rican rapper and singer, 28, explains about her liking for the prankster.
