Addison Rae’s father Monty Lopez arrested for public exposure
Addison Rae’s family life is back in the spotlight after her father's 2025 arrest
Addison Rae’s father, Monty Lopez, is facing serious legal trouble following an arrest in Louisiana. Court documents revealed on Tuesday indicate that the 50-year-old, born Manolito Juan Lopez, was detained on 27 July 2025.
The arrest stems from an alleged incident a year prior, where the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office accused him of "intentionally" exposing "his genitals, pubic hair, in a public place."
Authorities claim the act was committed with the intent of "arousing sexual desire" or was otherwise "patently offensive."
Lopez, who pleaded not guilty to the felony obscenity and sex crime charges in September, is currently out on a $2,500 bond.
This legal battle emerges just as his daughter, Addison, reaches new career heights, including a Best New Artist nomination at the 2026 Grammys. While Addison’s star rises, her father’s personal life remains turbulent.
Following a final split from Addison’s mother, Sheri Easterling, in 2022—amidst claims of a misleading affair—Monty eventually remarried medical professional Kaitlyn Nicole Robins in Las Vegas last October.
The impact on the family has been heavy. During previous public scandals involving Lopez, Easterling shared her heartbreak, noting: “Personal matters being brought public are always challenging and overwhelming for anyone involved.”
She emphasised that her priority remains her children's "fragile hearts and minds." As the March 19 hearing approaches, neither Lopez nor Addison’s representatives have offered further comment.
The case continues to cast a long shadow over the social media star’s otherwise celebratory awards season.
