Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie end 10-year legal battle over Chateau Miraval

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie appear to be finally closing the chapter on their decade-long legal dispute.

The former Hollywood power couple, whose divorce in 2016 was among the most talked-about splits in entertainment history, continued to clash over their French estate and renowned winery, Chateau Miraval, even after their divorce was finalised in December 2024.

Sources noted that Pitt, 62, was particularly focused on reviewing messages from Jolie regarding a potential sale of the property, which he did not approve. 

After years of courtroom stress, the Fight Club actor is reportedly ready to move on and leave the legal drama behind. It was noted that he wants 2026 to mark a fresh start, especially for the sake of his children, some of whom had limited contact with him over the years due to ongoing disputes.

Jolie, 50, is also said to be feeling the toll of the prolonged legal battle. Emails reportedly reveal concerns about her health and the impact of continuous public scrutiny. 

The Maleficent star is now planning significant life changes, including relocating from Los Angeles once their twins reach adulthood.

Both stars seem determined to prioritise family and personal well-being after years of public and private conflict. 

As they finally settle their differences, fans may see a quieter chapter emerge for the once-iconic couple.
