Selena Gomez reacts to her and Taylor Swift’s engagements, says they ‘found good dudes’

Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift are cherishing the joy of watching each other’s "Love Story" unfold.

The artist and performer featured on her husband Benny Blanco's new podcast with Lil Dicky and his spouse Kristin Batalucco, titled Friends Keep Secrets, and talked about her friendship with the music icon.

"Do you ever just sit and think, 'I can't believe how far we've come?'" Blanco, 37, inquired Gomez about Swift.

"It’s more about being amazed that we made it through together because that’s often what we discuss," the Only Murders in the Building star, 33, commented.

Reflecting on their friendship, Gomez shared it’s beyond personal achievements — it’s about having each other throughout it all.

"Our conversations aren’t about our successes. Instead, it’s incredible that we both understand this journey," she noted. 

"Sharing 17 years of friendship filled with numerous heartbreaks and love stories is unbelievable."

"Getting engaged around the same time was just the coolest thing," Gomez added.

When Lil Dicky (real name David Burd) remarked that they both "have amazing partners," she agreed.

"I agree... I'm indeed lucky," Gomez commented on their deep-rooted friendship, which began in 2008.

Gomez announced her engagement to the producer in December 2024, while Swift shared her engagement news with Travis Kelce in August 2025.

In September, Swift was present at the wedding of Gomez and Blanco in California and delivered a heartfelt speech at their reception.
