Lady Gaga confirms wedding plans with Michael Polansky 'we’re getting married soon'
The singer shared intimate details of her love life while calling into Bruno Mars’ livestream
Lady Gaga shared a sneak peek of her upcoming wedding to her fiancé, Michael Polansky.
The 'Poker Face' hitmaker revealed the pair are planning to tie the knot “soon” and are on the hunt for the perfect wedding song.
Gaga shared the news while calling into Bruno Mars’ iHeartRadio livestream, Romantic Radio, with a special request.
“Hi, Bruno. Me and my fiancé have been traveling all year, but we're getting married soon. We were hoping that maybe you could choose a special song for us,” she said.
Mars, 40, responded warmly, saying, “If you're looking for a song to dedicate to your husband, I would say, off this new album of mine, I would go with Risk It All, track one. So I want to dedicate this one to Lady Gaga and her fiancé. Michael, this is for you too.” He then played the opening track from his new album, The Romantic.
Gaga and tech entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist Polansky were first linked in 2020 and announced their engagement in 2024.
Their partnership has also been creative: Polansky co-produced several tracks on her 2025 album MAYHEM, including co-writing some songs.
The singer also shared how Polansky inspired her track Blade of Grass, recalling a simple, intimate proposal idea.
“We were in our backyard, and I said, ‘Just take a blade of grass and wrap it around my finger.’ And then I wrote Blade of Grass because I remembered the way his face looked and the grass in the backyard,” she told Apple Music host Zane Lowe.
Gaga credits Polansky with transforming her life and helping her feel more grounded.
She told Rolling Stone, “Being in love with someone that cares about the real me made a very big difference.” The pop icon described herself as a “healthy, whole person” after finding love with Polansky.
