Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds show PDA at Wrexham game in Wales
Co-owned by Reynolds, the team lost game and faced elimination from the Football Association Challenge Cup
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds expressed their passion for soccer and affection for each other at a recent match.
At 38 and 49 years old respectively, Lively and Reynolds were seen getting close and affectionate at the Football Association Challenge Cup (FA Cup) game featuring Wrexham — co-owned by the Deadpool star — against Chelsea in Wales on Saturday (March 7).
In a sweet moment, they exchanged a kiss while holding each other. Reynolds wore a gray sweatshirt and jeans, while Lively opted for a denim jacket coupled with matching pants and a striped top.
Their attention was focused on the match throughout, which saw Wrexham leading at first but eventually losing to Chelsea, 4-2. With this loss, Wrexham was out of the FA Cup.
The former Gossip Girl star was later seen hugging her husband, resting her head on his shoulder as they watched the game unfold.
After the game, Lively uploaded a cheerful photo of her and Reynolds on the now-empty field. "What. A. Game," she captioned the picture on her Instagram Stories.
Their latest outing occurred four months after Lively shared a pre-Thanksgiving date night photo with Reynolds in New York City on November 26.
“Using my night-out hair well,” Lively noted in the image's caption, adding, “I spy the Empire Hotel [if you know, you know]." (The Empire Hotel holds a significant place in Gossip Girl.)
Public sightings of Lively have been scarce in recent months amid her ongoing legal situation with her It Ends with Us co-star and director Justin Baldoni.
In December 2024, Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, accusing him of harassment and retaliation, charges he denies.
The court date for this case is set for May 2026 in New York. A judge has dismissed Baldoni's counterclaim against Lively and Reynolds, which accused them of slander and extortion.
Lively and Reynolds crossed paths in 2010 during the filming of Green Lantern. They began dating the following year and wed in September 2012.
The couple have four kids: daughters James, 11, Inez, 9, Betty, 6, and son Olin, 3.
The Another Simple Favor actress has discussed their relationship and mutual support for each other's ventures — such as Reynolds' involvement with Wrexham and Lively’s Blake Brown haircare brand — in an interview on WWD's The Beauty of Tomorrow podcast in January.
