Jennifer Lopez revealed during her Las Vegas residency that her 2014 divorce from Marc Anthony nearly made her “give up on it all.”

The 56-year-old singer shared the personal reflection during her Up All Night show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Friday, March 6, 2026.

J.Lo recalled navigating single motherhood while raising her 18-year-old twins, Max and Emme, who were three at the time of the split.

“After my third divorce that’s when I really started getting good at it. Seriously, that’s not funny,” Lopez quipped to the audience in a video shared on Instagram.

She added, “It was actually a really tough time. I was really about to give up on it all. I mean, I was a single mom with two three-year-old twins.”

Lopez credited her resilience to guidance from the late author Louise Hay. She recalled Hay telling her, “When you’re learning a dance, and you get the steps wrong, what do you do?” Lopez replied, “I just keep going until I get the steps right.” Hay’s advice, “Always keep dancing,” became a guiding mantra for Lopez—and one she passed along to her fans.

Pointing to the crowd, Lopez encouraged, “No matter what life throws at you, dance, and you dance, and you dance. Again, and again, and again. I love you so much.”

Lopez has navigated multiple high-profile relationships. Her first marriage was to actor Ojani Noa in 1997, which ended in 1998.

She married dancer Cris Judd in 2001 and divorced in 2003.

Her marriage to Marc Anthony lasted a decade, ending in 2014. More recently, she filed for divorce from actor Ben Affleck in August 2024, with the split finalized in January 2025.
