Gunfire at Rihanna’s Beverly Hills home, woman arrested while singer inside

A 30-year-old woman was taken into custody Sunday after she allegedly shot several rounds with a rifle at the Beverly Hills, California, mansion owned by pop star Rihanna while the singer was reportedly at home.

The Los Angeles police swiftly responded to a call about the shooting at 1:21pm and apprehended the suspect, a representative told the California Post. A bullet reportedly penetrated one of the mansion's walls.

Pictures from the location displayed yellow police tape surrounding the singer's home, and officers were noted closing off the roadway near the star's residence.

It's uncertain if Rihanna's partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, and their three children — RZA, 3, Riot Rose, 2, and 5-month-old Rocki Irish Mayers — were present during the shooting.

No injuries were reported in the event, according to Police Sgt. Jonathan de Vera, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department who spoke to the Los Angeles Times about the situation.

The LA Times also indicated that the police dispatch recorded “around 10 shots” being fired at the residence from a vehicle positioned across the street from the property.

The suspect then drove away in a white Tesla, heading southbound on Coldwater Canyon Drive, based on the dispatch audio.

An insider close to Rihanna’s family shared with the Post, “they are all safe and well.” The singer has yet to make a public statement regarding the incident.

At present, there is no additional information, including any potential motive for the shooting.
