Pop star's residence became the target of an incident
Rihanna reportedly "is puzzled" about why her family became a target after shots were fired at her Los Angeles home on Sunday.
The "Diamonds" singer "is extremely shaken" after a woman identified as Ivanna Ortiz allegedly opened fire with an AR-15 rifle at her residence while the singer was there, according to a source who spoke to People on Monday.
"Rihanna heard the shots, though she was initially unsure of the situation," mentioned another insider.
"Even with excellent security measures, realizing that such an incident can occur is unsettling."
The incident was "frightening" for Rihanna, yet she's "grateful everyone is unharmed," the source mentioned.
An exclusive source informs Page Six that the artist is enhancing security measures and has even postponed a planned photo shoot because of the shooting.
The "Work" singer, who resides in the house with her longtime partner A$AP Rocky and their children RZA, 3, Riot, 2, and Rocki, 6 months, "cannot comprehend why someone would aim at her family."
It's not clear if the Grammy winner's family was present during the incident.

The assault took place around 1:20pm local time, with a single bullet reportedly puncturing a wall of the dwelling.
Los Angeles Police Department Sgt. Jonathan de Vera informed the Los Angeles Times that "about 10 rounds" were fired at the house by an individual in a white Tesla across the street.
