Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet reportedly exit Oscars for an hour amid onstage jokes

Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner reportedly stepped out of the 98th Academy Awards for a full hour, according to an eyewitness.

“Timothée and Kylie were replaced by seat fillers for an hour,” the source told The Sun. “It seems like he had enough of being the butt of the jokes. 

They only came back just before the Best Actress and Best Actor categories were announced.”

Chalamet, who was up for Best Actor, faced a rocky night on the Oscars stage. 

Conan O’Brien opened the show with a monologue joking about the actor, and Chalamet’s previous comments on ballet and opera were referenced during a winner’s speech, adding to the tension.

“Concern about attacks from both the opera and ballet communities,” O’Brien quipped, “They’re just mad you left out jazz.”

Following the awards, Jenner and Chalamet attended the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. 

A source described Chalamet as “swarmed by well-wishers” in his white suit while keeping sunglasses on for most of the night. 

The couple reportedly left together quietly, in what the source called “the Irish exit he wanted and needed.”
