Carter Reum addresses rumors of strain with Paris Hilton after viral Grammy clip

Carter Reum is setting the record straight on speculation surrounding his marriage to Paris Hilton.

The entrepreneur addressed the rumors directly on social media after a viral Instagram clip from the 2024 Grammy Awards sparked online chatter about a possible strain in their relationship. 

In the video, Reum leans in to kiss Hilton on the cheek while she slightly turns her head — a moment some interpreted as tension between the couple.

Responding in the comments, Reum shut down the speculation, insisting their relationship remains strong. 

“We’re the happiest and best couple,” he wrote, brushing off what he described as “amateur psychology takes.”

He went on to clarify the moment, explaining that Hilton simply didn’t want her makeup smudged on the red carpet. “It’s not that deep,” he added, before affirming, “She loves me to death.”

Reum and Hilton, both 45, have been married since November 2021 and share two children, son Phoenix and daughter London, both born via surrogate. 

The couple has largely presented a united front publicly, often sharing glimpses of their family life while keeping certain aspects private.

Hilton herself has frequently spoken about their relationship in glowing terms. In her 2026 project Infinite Icon: A Visual Memoir, she described Reum as her “safe place,” adding that their life together feels like a “real-life fairy tale.”

The couple also recently marked another milestone when Reum proposed to Hilton again during a beachside moment with their children, a gesture she later called even more special than the first.
