Elle Fanning recently showcased a handmade scarf crafted by her sister, Dakota Fanning, highlighting the pair’s close bond and Dakota’s knitting talent.

During a Vogue tour of her Coach bag, Elle, 27, revealed a short, chunky purple scarf with a silver safety pin clasp, noting that Dakota, 32, is an “avid knitter” who works quickly and skillfully. Each scarf comes with a sweet stitched label: “From the knitting needles of Dakota Fanning.”

“You just kind of … wear it like this,” Elle demonstrated, draping the scarf over her head, adding that she had tried knitting herself but quickly realized it wasn’t her forte.

While Dakota often knits during downtime on sets, Elle prefers relaxing with her phone.

Elle has frequently celebrated Dakota’s creative talents and warmth on social media. For Dakota’s 28th birthday in 2022, Elle posted a tribute highlighting her sister’s skills, from baking precise cakes to layering jewelry and knitting scarves “at the speed of light.”

On Dakota’s 32nd birthday, Elle shared, “[Dakota] is the coolest person anyone will ever meet and I’m the lucky one who gets to call her mine! [heart emoji] I love you.”

Beyond the scarf, Elle’s Vogue bag tour included personal items like a pink scrunchie, claw clip, glasses, sentimental pin, note from her mom, eyeliner, travel perfume, and a Mike Wazowski miniature, reflecting her playful and personal style.

The Fanning sisters’ close-knit relationship continues to charm fans, showcasing a mix of fashion, creativity, and sisterly affection that inspires their social media tributes.
