Zendaya hints at 'Euphoria' Season 3 finale: 'Closure is near'

Zendaya hints at the climax of Euphoria as the third season gears up for its debut on HBO.

It’s been a four-year wait since the drama's second season hit the screens, and the show's lead teased on The Drew Barrymore Show that the resolution fans have been longing for is near.

“I believe so,” Zendaya mentioned to Drew Barrymore when she was asked if she felt Euphoria’s upcoming season might mark its conclusion.

Barrymore added, “I feel like I need to prepare [before watching]…” to which Zendaya replied, “Resolution is on its way.”

There's been a broad assumption that the third season of Euphoria might wrap things up, largely because the show’s cast members are now major figures in the film industry, making it a logistical challenge to align their schedules for filming a new season. 

HBO’s Chief, Casey Bloys, hasn't closed the door on extending beyond the third season, as the creator, Sam Levinson, has a vision for a possible fourth installment.

“The current situation is that Sam is completing the third season, and I must say he’s discovered an ingenious method to advance all these characters by five years; it’s thrilling to watch,” Bloys told Deadline earlier this year. “We’re just starting to view the edits, which are impressive. As for what comes next, we’ll discuss his future plans soon. For now, his focus remains on wrapping up season three and preparing for its release.”

Euphoria Season 3 is slated to hit screens on April 12 on HBO and will be available for streaming on HBO Max. 

The returning cast features Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, and Toby Wallace. 

The lineup of returning guest stars includes Colman Domingo, Nika King, Alanna Ubach, Sophia Rose Wilson, Melvin Bonez Estes, Daeg Faerch, Paula Marshall, Zak Steiner, and Marsha Gambles.

New guest stars in the third season include Sharon Stone, Rosalía, Danielle Deadwyler, Marshawn Lynch, Anna Van Patten, Asante Blackk, Bella Podaras, Bill Bodner, Cailyn Rice, Christopher Ammanuel, Kadeem Hardison, Kwame Patterson, Natasha Lyonne, among many others.
