Kate Hudson has expressed profound gratitude for her supportive family, noting that their shared experiences in the entertainment industry foster a unique level of empathy.
In a recent conversation with "E! News" on Wednesday, the 46-year-old actress reflected on the "undying respect" she maintains for every actor in her household.
Hudson bolstered this sentiment by detailing recent heart-to-heart discussions with her mother, Hollywood legend Goldie Hawn, about the importance of staying present as time moves forward.
"My mom and I were talking about this. Life, it goes fast," Hudson recalled during the interview. She emphasised her commitment to cherishing every second spent with her parents, noting that their mutual passion for the arts creates a "familiarity and an understanding" that is often rare for those outside of "Hollywood royalty."
The "Song Sung Blue" star explained that growing up in a household that intimately understands the nuances of the business provides a different kind of recognition.
"You just gotta take every second in," she added, highlighting the emotional grounding her family provides amidst the pressures of fame.
While Hudson has already collaborated with her stepfather, Kurt Russell, in the 2016 film "Deepwater Horizon", she admitted that a future on-screen project with her mother remains a dream that "probably will never happen."
She jokingly compared the potential dynamic of her family on a movie set to the sitcom "Arrested Development".
Following her recent Academy Award nomination for "Song Sung Blue", Hudson continues to champion the work ethic she inherited from her parents while raising her own children, including her eldest son, Ryder, who is also pursuing a career in the arts.
