Gigi Hadid has shared a rare glimpse into life with her daughter, Khai, just hours after her ex-partner Zayn Malik revealed he is recovering from a recent hospitalisation.
On April 17, the supermodel posted an update on social media featuring a close-up of five-year-old Khai’s lunch, along with a handwritten note from Hadid that read: “Fun Fact Friday, Did you know... Frogs don't drink water. They absorb it through their skin! Love Mama.”
The post offered a lighthearted moment amid growing concern for Malik, who shared a separate update the same day from a hospital bed, confirming he had been rushed in for treatment following a medical emergency.
In his message, Malik thanked fans for their support and said he was still recovering, adding that it had been “a long week.”
He also expressed disappointment at having to postpone plans, while notably mentioning appreciation for his medical team, including a cardiologist, though he did not disclose the cause of his condition.
Hadid’s post marked a rare personal update featuring Khai, whom she shares with Malik. The former couple, who dated on and off between 2015 and 2021, welcomed their daughter in September 2020.
Despite their separation, both have remained publicly committed to co-parenting Khai while largely keeping her life out of the spotlight.
