Jennifer Aniston supports ex Justin Theroux after birth of first child
The ex couple continue to maintain a friendly post-divorce bond
Jennifer Aniston is proving that amicable breakups can stand the test of time, subtly showing support for ex-husband Justin Theroux after he welcomed his first child with wife Nicole Brydon Bloom.
Theroux, 54, and Bloom, 32, announced on April 18 that they had welcomed a baby boy, sharing the news on Instagram alongside a black-and-white photo of the actor holding the newborn. “He’s here[emoji] we are so in love,” the couple captioned the post.
Shortly after the announcement, Aniston, 57, quietly acknowledged the milestone by “liking” the post, a small but notable gesture that reflects the friendly relationship the former couple has maintained since their split.
Aniston and Theroux first met in 2007 and later reconnected while working on the 2011 film Wanderlust. Their relationship quickly progressed, leading to an engagement in 2012 and a private backyard wedding in August 2015.
The pair announced their separation in 2018 but have remained on good terms ever since.
Over the years, the two have continued to publicly support one another, often exchanging birthday tributes and interacting on social media.
Theroux previously described Aniston as “very dear” to him, underscoring the mutual respect that has defined their post-divorce dynamic.
Theroux and Bloom, who got engaged in 2024 and married in 2025, confirmed they were expecting their first child in December of that year. The newborn marks a new chapter for the couple.
Meanwhile, Aniston has also moved forward in her personal life. She is currently in a relationship with Jim Curtis, whom she began dating in 2025.
