Vogue Williams shares emotional toll of pregnancy loss while expecting again
Vogue and Spencer Matthews celebrate new beginnings after past heartbreak
Vogue Williams has spoken candidly about her experience with pregnancy loss, revealing the emotional toll of two miscarriages as she prepares to welcome her fourth child with husband Spencer Matthews.
The presenter, 40, recently announced her pregnancy on social media, sharing beachside photos from St. Barts alongside Matthews, 37. The couple, who married in 2018, are already parents to three children — Theodore, Gigi and Otto.
Opening up in a video shared on her YouTube channel, Williams detailed her previous losses, including one miscarriage before the birth of her daughter Gigi and another last year following a 12-week scan that showed the embryo had not developed.
“I know I’m very happy that we are pregnant again, but… the nerves will kind of always be there,” she said, reflecting on the anxiety that continues to accompany her pregnancy journey.
Williams described her first miscarriage as “really upsetting,” adding that she became pregnant again soon after, eventually welcoming Gigi. However, her second loss proved particularly difficult.
She recalled attending what was expected to be a routine scan, only to be told it was not “really a pregnancy” due to the lack of embryo development. The experience left her feeling both “really upset” and “embarrassed.”
“I felt like my body had kind of failed me,” she admitted.
The couple’s pregnancy announcement, captioned “Baby number four incoming,” featured intimate images of the pair together, along with their children, marking a hopeful new chapter following a challenging period.
Williams also addressed recent speculation surrounding her relationship, firmly denying rumors of a split from Matthews.
In a statement shared on Instagram, she dismissed the claims as “baseless and cruel,” emphasizing that the couple remain “very happily married and in love.”
She added that speaking out was important to prevent their children from being affected by false narratives.
