Billie Eilish is still reeling from an emotional full-circle moment after a surprise appearance during Justin Bieber’s set at Coachella.

The Grammy-winning singer revealed she “can’t stop crying” after Bieber serenaded her with his 2009 hit One Less Lonely Girl during weekend two of the festival on Saturday (April 18). 

Eilish later shared a photo of her bloodshot eyes on Instagram Stories, capturing the emotional aftermath once she returned home.

The unexpected moment unfolded when Hailey Bieber encouraged Eilish to step onto the stage.

Bieber welcomed her with open arms before performing the fan-favourite track directly to her — recreating the signature moment from his early touring days when he would serenade a selected fan.

While some in the crowd initially believed Hailey Bieber might take part in the segment, it quickly became clear she had instead set the stage for Eilish, a longtime superfan and close friend of the pop star.

The seemingly unscripted interaction quickly became one of the standout highlights of the night, drawing widespread attention across social media.

Even Eilish’s mother, Maggie Baird, reflected on the emotional significance of the moment, calling it “one of the most touching moments ever.”

“It sounds crazy, but we watch our children develop these deep, deep connections to artists who move them and usually there’s nothing in our power to do,” Baird wrote on Instagram. “Watching this crazy unimaginable dream come true over many years is so incredible.”

She also expressed gratitude to both Justin and Hailey Bieber for their support and kindness toward Eilish and their family.
