Camilla Luddington has shared practical recovery advice for Sophie Turner as the Game of Thrones alumna steps into the legendary role of Lara Croft.

Luddington, 42, who provided the voice and motion-capture performance for the Tomb Raider Survivor video game trilogy between 2013 and 2018, emphasised the physical toll of portraying the athletic archaeologist.

Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE, she recommended that Turner invest in "heating pads" to manage the inevitable physical strain associated with the high-octane production.

Recalling her own experience with gruelling stunts, Luddington noted how "sore" she felt after filming sessions, suggesting that hot baths and heat therapy are essential tools for any actress playing the character.

Turner, 30, was cast as the lead for Prime Video’s upcoming television adaptation in September 2025 and commenced filming in January of this year.

The production recently faced a brief pause in March after Amazon MGM Studios confirmed Turner had "experienced a minor injury," though she is expected to resume her "powerhouse performance" shortly.

While Turner expressed her excitement at following in the footsteps of former stars Angelina Jolie and Alicia Vikander, Luddington hinted at a potential return to the franchise.

Although she has not yet been approached, the actress expressed a keen interest in a guest role. "I would love to be like a baddie," Luddington remarked, praising Turner’s appearance in early promotional images.

The series, developed by Fleabag creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge, currently awaits an official release date as filming continues under significant fan anticipation.
