The Facts of Life star Mindy Cohn has revealed that she is recovering in a Los Angeles hospital after undergoing treatment for cancer for the second time.
The Emmy-nominated actress, who previously beat breast cancer in 2017, took to Instagram on Monday to update fans on her health.
Cohn explained her recent absence from the spotlight, stating she had "been off social media for a while" to "kick cancer's ass" with the help of the staff at Providence Saint John's hospital.
Cohn, 59, expressed deep gratitude for her family’s advocacy and the medical team that supported her throughout this latest battle.
While she did not specify the type of cancer in her post, she remained characteristically resilient, telling followers she expects to be "recouping for another couple of weeks" before embarking on her "next adventure."
The actress famously kept her first five-year battle with breast cancer private, only revealing her diagnosis in 2017 after she had successfully entered remission.
The announcement sparked an immediate wave of support from her Hollywood peers. Stars such as Sarah Paulson, Helen Hunt, and Jerry O'Connell filled her comments with well-wishes, with O'Connell noting he was "here whenevs you need us."
Cohn is currently enjoying a career resurgence with her role as society reporter Ann Holiday in the Apple TV+ series Palm Royale.
Despite the health setback, she ended her message with a defiant "Onwards!" and a clear message to the disease: "F--k cancer!"
