In a recent conversation with Elle, Hollywood veteran Demi Moore provided a rare look into the daily habits that fuel her "strength and vitality."
The 67-year-old actress, currently starring in the body-horror hit The Substance, revealed that her mornings are dedicated to mental clarity, starting with meditation, being present, and journaling.
Moore explained that getting her body moving and prioritising basic pillars like hydration and sleep are non-negotiable elements of her routine.
Moore also emphasised the importance of her evening "transition" period. Beyond just a skincare regimen, she focuses on intentionally moving from the "chaos of the day" into a state of rest—a practice she describes as life-changing.
Reflecting on her journey, she noted that while her younger years were spent in a state of self-judgment while trying to find her identity, her current focus is strictly on longevity.
"There's no room for judgment because you're working toward a goal of strength and vitality," she shared, adding that "there's no one better to be than you."
Central to her current philosophy is the concept of a "reset." Moore clarified that for her, this doesn't mean starting over from scratch, but rather exercising the "power of choice" to pick a new direction at any stage of life.
On the nutritional front, Moore has remained vocal about her disciplined approach to eating. She previously told People that she follows a meat-free diet, opting for eggs and other nutrient-dense foods to ensure she maintains a high-performance lifestyle as she navigates her late sixties.
