Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce reportedly move secret wedding plans to New York

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are reportedly making last-minute changes to their alleged wedding plans, with new reports claiming the celebrity couple has shifted the ceremony location to New York City in an effort to preserve privacy.

According to insider claims, the pair had initially been linked to a possible wedding celebration in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, but are now said to be considering a more tightly controlled event in New York. 

The reported ceremony could take place as early as June 13 or July 3, 2026, before Kelce returns for Kansas City Chiefs training camp.

Sources suggest the couple is deliberately withholding venue details even from invited guests, with only a date reportedly being circulated. 

The unusual level of secrecy is said to be part of a broader strategy to prevent leaks, unauthorised recordings, and unwanted media attention surrounding the high-profile event.

Entertainment journalist Rob Shuter claimed that the absence of a finalized public venue is intentional and designed to keep control of all wedding logistics until the final moment. 

Reports indicate that the guest list is also being managed with strict confidentiality.

The motivation behind the reported shift is said to be Swift and Kelce’s desire for a fully private ceremony away from intense public scrutiny. 

As one of entertainment and sports’ most closely followed couples, both have faced relentless media attention since going public with their relationship.

Swift has previously spoken positively about the idea of a larger wedding celebration, joking in an earlier interview that bigger ceremonies can make guest-list decisions less emotionally complicated.
